Once you’ve submitted the application, we will begin generating matches between you and potential companies. All you have to do is wait for the interview offers to come to your inbox! They could come in two weeks or months later. This is because new companies partner with us year-round, allowing them and applicants the flexibility to start and end depending on their schedule.

Schedule an interview with the companies directly and see if they could be the right fit for you. In some cases, a secondary interview or a short-term trial period at the company may be necessary in order to fully secure your position.

Congratulations! A company thinks you’ll be a perfect addition to their team. Once you accept your offer, get access to Gen She’s private network of top-tier women in tech and professional development.
How to Prepare for Interviews

Research the company you’re interviewing for. Glance over their website and know their mission. Note any important details (new products or services, news, acquisitions, etc.) as they could be mentioned in the interview.
Subsequently, know the person who’s interviewing you. Are they the founder or someone from HR? Are they your potential supervisor or co-worker? The questions asked in the interview can differ depending on the person’s role.

Review the responsibilities/duties in the job description and determine specific examples of success for each responsibility based on your past experiences. You don’t want to just say you have great data analysis skills; support that statement with an example.

Most importantly, be confident! Connect your professional goals, skills, and experiences to the job. Companies want to find somebody that’s not only a good fit for their brand and culture, but also someone who’s “been there and done that.” Let them know that you’re that somebody!
